Good news! Sam talked to the doctor and all of the blood work came back without any problems. Very good news and it made us both very happy and relieved.
We went down to Granville Island yesterday as you can see from the pic of my wife wearing a trenchcoat and closing her eyes when I took a picture of her. She had a meeting with some clients at a coffee shop. When she ordered a decaf, the first reaction from the bride was "Are you pregnant?". It's getting very hard to keep this under wraps.
After that we went to Metrotown to do some shopping. Sam found a maternity store and bought some new clothes. Since she spent a fortune, they gave us a baby-hoodie. Good deal.
Other than that it's pretty much life as usual. We had some friends over to watch the hockey game on Saturday night (go Canucks!) and Sam found a way to fit in with the rest of the drinking crowd. She bought some 'kids wine' from our trip to the Okanagan. It's like a carbonated juice in a wine bottle made for kids. Worked out pretty well.
